Alex Austin and Jim Builteman met back in 2006 and it was evident from the outset that there was a strong musical connection. Since that time, they have put together a song list that they refer to as American Roots Music. Jim delivers crowd pleasing and, when appropriate, ultra high energy instrumental performances on mandolin and guitar (acoustic & electric) while Alex handles lead vocals. Alex's instrumental role is rhythm guitar plus he does a bit of finger picking which probably qualifies as his specialty. They can be seen and heard on a regular basis at several venues around St. Augustine, Florida. The best part of this collaboration is a friendship that runs deep and a mutual passion for music - a combination that makes for a really good time for all!
